Midwest Community in Zanesville provides a variety of paid vocational work opportunities for those that come to our program. Being a retail store front location in Sunrise Plaza, individuals have the options to enhance their skills of customer service, money management, and how to maintain a store front. Many different items are made at this location such as lotions, soaps, wood crafts, wreaths, candy, and holiday décor. Items sold in the store are exclusively made by the individuals who are a part of all the Midwest Community locations. We pride ourselves with the products sold in our store front but we also like getting out and involved with the community. We have our own venture crew that consists of trips to places like the Columbus Zoo, Cosi, the Wilds, fishing, nature walks, picnics, bowling, restaurants, the movies, the Apple Butter Festival, and many other exciting places.
